Tracy Everett

Tracy is our Ministry Coordinator for Missions & Outreach as well as for Groups and Pastoral Care.  She helps make sure every aspect of these ministries are running smoothly, and that Ministry Partners are communicated with and equipped for service.

From Tracy: "I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island (back when PCs first came out!).  I was a computer programmer for 10 years and loved it.  I’ve been a partner in numerous small businesses for the past 20 years, and have had a wide variety of administrative responsibilities in those businesses.  I had always believed I was much more suited to working with computers than with people.

However, God likes to take us out of our comfort zone.  I’d been a volunteer with different local ministries for many years, and then became a Ministry Partner here at Calvary; first as a greeter, then serving in the café, and the welcome team.  Next step was the First Impressions Team co-coordinator.  I also volunteered weekly in the church office.  So much for not working with people!

God changed my heart from wanting to sit at home in front of a computer, to now having a passion for helping people connect with each other and find their place in the body of Christ.  He is awesome!

I love to travel, and have been to many amazing places.  My happy place is the beach, with my little Bella (my Chihuahua) by my side.  My sweet daughter, Hannah, is the joy of my life."
