George Ray
Care Pastor
George Ray is our Care Pastor whose responsibilities include ministering to the personal needs of our congregational members. He provides short term counseling, direction and encouragement for those who are facing difficult decisions. Additionally, he performs funerals, weddings and anniversary celebrations. Part of his responsibilities are hospital and home visitations.
On a personal note George has been married to his wife Trish who is his ministry partner for over 52 years. They have 4 sons, wonderful daughters-in-love and 11 grandchildren. Together, they ministered in New England for 40 years, 35 of those years in one church where George was the Lead Pastor and Trish was the Worship Pastor.
George is a graduate of Clemson University, Boston College Law School, and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He also served as a Captain in the US Army and is a Vietnam veteran. Pastor George and Trish love leading tours to Israel and enjoyed sailing while in New England.
Jesus calls us to do two things. Love God and love people. That is what a Care Pastor is called to do - to Pour out God’s love on His family, His church through the power of His Holy Spirit. They absolutely love Calvary and are blessed by the commitment of the church staff and are so grateful for the teachings from Pastor Dan.
